Our Last CPO Class in 2010

Home Base in Anaheim

We had our FIRST class in 2010 at a new location in Anaheim:  the Superior Pool Products Headquarters (read about it here).  Over the year, this class site developed into our new ‘home’ and was our most attended venue!

Our LAST class of 2010 was also held this past Thursday and Friday, December 2-3, at the same Anaheim “home” location!   The class, once again, was fantastic, with students representing a broad spectrum of businesses – from new pool guys and old pool guys to property managers and  facility supervisors.  All students were alert, active and participated in the classroom — and ALL passed the CPO exam!

Wow! —  congratulations, new CPO’ers!!  — what a TERRIFIC way to end the year!

Thank you, PoolCorp, for such a great, productive year, with over 200 students attending our CPO classes!  A special thanks goes to:

  • David Ogren and crew at SCP, San Diego!
  • E. J. Wamsley and crew at SCP, Riverside!
  • And all the people at the Superior HQ in Anaheim!

Mike Felechner and Steve

Elise and I had a lot of fun this year and enjoyed working with all of you.  We really do appreciate your hospitality and gracious attitudes, as well.

Pictured here is Mike Felechner, PoolCorp’s Southern California Division Business Development Manager.  Mike has been a staunch supporter of our classes and of PoolCorp’s model of promoting continuing education in the pool industry.  On Friday, he dropped by to say ‘Hi” as our students were bent over their exams and as we packed up our classroom for the last time this year.   Thanks a bunch for all your help and support, Mike!

Lastly, we hope and pray that you all will have a very Merry Christmas, and that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will shed many blessings on each and every one of you and your families, as well as on our industry this coming  New Year of 2011.

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
