Palm Desert – again – August 7-8

Steve teaching about pH and the Importance of water balance

Our second class in Palm Desert was yet another great success!  Thanks to the crew at National Pool Tile, Palm Desert — especially Renee #2 (as we call her) — actually the store manager, Renee Nelson, was on vacation and Renee Clark was our host — Thank you Renee!

The desert was great — it was cooler in August than in our past visit in July.

We had nine in attendance.  It was not all guys though: one gal from the L.A. area of Montebello was in class.  She understood the importance of simply KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE DOING.  She was getting ready to go to work for a local aquatic facility.

Our next stop: back in Orange, California — we have 8 signed up so far and expect to have a few more.

Thanks again Renee Clark and the entire crew at National Pool Tile – Palm Desert.  We give a special thanks to Henry Gonzalez for his personal time on Saturday for locking up the facility!

And we cannot forget the continued support and help of Dave Barfuss, Superior Pool Products – Indio. Thanks Dave for the conference tables!
