Class Formats
1) The Traditional 2-Day Class
This is the traditional class program and requirement to achieve the CPO Certification. It is 2 full days of classroom time with 14 to 16 hours of instructor contact. The first day we cover about three-fourths of the material, then finish up in the morning on the second day. We review right after lunch the second day then start the proctored CPO exam.
2) The HeadStart/Preparatory Program
We have an on-line, self-learning, self-paced coarse called Pool Operator Primer (POP). It is designed to introduce students to the curriculum before attending the full 2-Day instructor-led class. It serves as a HeadStart or Preparatory course, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the material ahead of time. Students get the best of both worlds—the flexibility to study the curriculum online at their own speed, plus the advantage of live presentation and interaction with an instructor during the 2-Day class.
If a student completes the POP course and presents the "Certificate of Completion" to the instructor, they have the option to skip the first day and attend only the second day of the live class.
The course material remains accessible to you indefinitely for future review.
