Keeping Records – A Never Ending Task

We had our second installment of our CPO presentation for Archstone Apartments.  This past Thursday and Friday, September 2-3,  we were at their regional HQ in Santa Ana – a first class facility in all aspects!  Everyone was very professional in dress and manner and spoke  as if they took pride in their position at Archstone and for working in such a beautiful facility.

The CPO presentation is not only about chlorine, acid, pumps, filters and such.  We also present:

  • The role of management
  • The role of the CPO in the management structure
  • Organizations and government agencies that set guidelines and regulations
  • Aquatic Safety
  • And and many other topics.

When we presented the importance of record keeping (one of those never ending jobs!), the students at Archstone offered terrific feedback and comments on the subject.   The reason:  they already DO keep detailed, consistent records documenting work performed in ALL of the Archstone facilities across the country — and that is a sign of a very professional and successful organization.

Pearl, Amber and Sarah: The ones that make it happen at Archstone!

We wish to thank Archstone for the opportunity to present our CPO class and to contribute to the professionalism of their organization.  A special thank you goes to the work of:

Amber Armenta, Contract Administrator, for scheduling and organizing the classes;

Pearl Cabreros, Service Support Assistant, for setting up and taking care of us during class; and to

Sarah Ellwood, the Receptionist at HQ, for greeting us every day with her generous smile and hospitality.
